  20. Just got PowerMacros and HollywoodFX yesterday.  PowerMacros are a 
  21. collection of ARexx programs for LW and Modeler, includes about 20 very 
  22. good scripts.  Some of the more interesting are BlowUp, Shatter, Swarm, 
  23. Snake, Attach To Poly, Clone Object & Surface and Save Pivot Point.  I 
  24. was able to get exactly what I wanted with the Swarm Macro after about an 
  25. hour of playing around, it's paid for itself many times over already!  A 
  26. deal at about $100.

  28. HFX is a Transition and Composition generator.  Does some nice ADO style 
  29. effects using a brain dead simple interface.  Supports image sequences 
  30. from the PAR and (in future) Flyer and VLabMotion.  The one thing that 
  31. bugs me at this point is the effects are not editable, they've encoded 
  32. the scene and object files and they clear the scene when you quit the 
  33. render.  Their method is fool proof but not hack proof ;).  It comes with 
  34. 48 scenes and they promise more, they also promise editable effects in 
  35. the future.  Seems to be worth the $280 if they follow through with the 
  36. improvements, definitely targetted to Toaster/Flyer producers with little 
  37. or no LW experience.
